Hi everyone! I will be at FMX/08 on May 05 Monday. I will be at the 3d powerstore table and sign books for ballistic publishing. As it was much fun last year I hope to have a lot of fun this year as well and see some of you there! Here's some info about the FMX/08: FMX is the primary European meeting of the digital community. Presenting cutting edge digital entertainment, the conference addresses the interests of professionals in creation, production and distribution from all corners of the industry. Innovative approaches in the animation, visual effects and gaming industries create a focus for discussions about the convergence and future of digital entertainment. Meet top names in the industry as they present their latest achievements, interview with recruiters searching for new talent and test hard- and software innovations directly with developers – all in an open atmosphere of qualified discussion and informal encounter. The level of knowledge and experience and the openness with which it is shared has made FMX a set date for cg professionals all around the world. fmx/08 takes place from May 05 – 08, 2008 in Haus der Wirtschaft, Stuttgart, Germany. FMX/08 is an event by Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg Hope to meet some of you guys there Cheers -Uwe |

Portfolio update |
Hi all, I just replaced the “Portfolio Section” through a portfolio Pdf I did not too long ago for a gaming company, well at least a part of it. So if you now hit the button “Portfolio” the Pdf file will show up. I sure will do a new Portfolio Html site one day, just not right now as I just don’t have time to do much updates on my site. But the Portfolio was just too old to make sense any longer and I had to do a new one. Other than that I have some new art waiting on my harddrive to get uploaded, I soon will do that. Sorry for my lack of updated but there’s just too much work waiting to be done. Hope you all have a fabulous 2008. Cheers -Uwe |

However I’ll just take this to whish you all a peaceful Christmas and a very happy new year. Thank you all so much for your support in the last years, without you I sure wouldn’t have come so far. Spam from my e-card function |
My Administrator just informed me about the fact that someone sent spam-mails from my e-card function in my gallery. I disabled the function, so now this service is no longer available. Needles to tell you all how much I hate all those spammers, don’t they have any other hobbys? For all those who received spam mails from my e-card function, I’m really sorry about that. And I hope it will not happen again. For all those of you using my e-card function, I’m sorry that it is not longer available, but disabling the function is the only thing I can do about it :-(. I probably should rebuild and update my whole site, but I just don’t find the time to do so at the moment. May all spammers burn in hell. -Uwe |
