I give another try to my guestbook, hope it will not be spammed to death like the last time, I didn’t find a spam save new guestbook which fits to my site design, so I took the old one again, I will try to make this somehow spam safe as soon as I find the time. Till than I hope those damn spam robots won’t find my guestbook too soon again. However now you can sign my guestbook again, your entries are always much appreciated. Cheers Uwe |

Trying to get this site “Search Engine Friendly” |
Oh boy, the time I built this site I had no clue about all this search engine things like Meta Tags and all that, well I still have no clue about those things. BUT I got it managed to put at least some keywords and a more “Search Engine Friendly” title to my Meta Tags. So now the title of my site is no longer – Jarling-Arts.com – the official homepage of Uwe Jarling – this title was not just too long it also had not a single key-word in it like Fantasy Art or something like that, other than that if one goes to www.jarling-arts.com I’m sure the one will know he is now on Jarling-Arts, so no need to mention the url in the title as well, however, now the title is – Fantasy Art, Fine Art, Illustration – Uwe Jarling -. So now I have at least words like Fantasy Art, Fine Art and Illustration in my title cause that is what I do and that’s also for what I want to be found in search engines. Just so you don’t wonder why the title of my site has now changed. Well now time will tell if this helps to be found in the search engines, we’ll see. Some of you may have recognized that I now have some links to web-rings and things like that on my start page, well that’s cause people told me it is important to get linked with your site in order to get better rankings. So if you are an artist and want a link/banner exchange with my site, don’t hesitate to drop me a mail and we can link our sites. But please you really should be an artist or your site content should at least be art related, otherwise it won’t make much sense. So now I’ll better go back to work and do what I can do better than HTML-coding… back to the drawing board, some new stuff will be uploaded in my gallery soon. Cheers Uwe |
